Provost and Vice-President (Academic)
The Provost and Vice-President (Academic) reports directly to the President and is the chief academic officer of Lakehead University, responsible for academic planning and development and for on-going academic operations.
As a member of the Priorities and Planning Group (PPG), the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) participates in strategic planning for Lakehead University's future, as well as in the development and implementation of the University's annual budget.

The Provost and Vice-President (Academic) is Chair of Lakehead University's Deans' Council, Vice-Chair of Senate, and participates actively in the Ontario Council of Academic Vice Presidents, an affiliate of the Council of Ontario Universities.
